Cafe × Young Korean Artists Project
Artist Open Call: Ding! Creative Corners
Not the centreer. Not the spotlight. But where it all begins.
Ding! Creative Corners is a project that invites contemporary art into the everyday — not in galleries or white cubes, but in the corners of local cafés, where life happens.
Organised by 4482 [SASAPARI], a UK-based non-profit platform supporting Korean artists, this initiative focuses on emerging talents who are finding their voices in a new context. By placing artwork in warm, lived-in spaces, the project creates opportunities for artists to meet audiences where they least expect it — over coffee, in community spaces, and in moments of pause.
Each participating café in South West London has its own personality and local following. Through this project, we hope to spark new dialogues between the artwork, the space, and the people who pass through it.
Open call deadline: Friday, 22 August 2025
Result announcement: Sunday, 31 August 2025
Exhibition Dates: 29 September 2025 - 27 October 2025
Location: Various 3 cafés in South West London (Yayhouse, 63 High St. Cafe, Cafe Macarong)
