Donna Kim is a South Korean movement artist and choreographer based in London who explores identity and emotion through the universal language of dance. Rooted in the traditions of Korean dance, she perceives tradition as a living, evolving force that connects the past with the present.

 

Her practice focuses on the relationship between breath and movement, using breath as both a source of vitality and a choreographic foundation. Through this dialogue, she expresses the flow of emotion, tension, and release within human experience.

 

She has performed and choreographed internationally, with projects at Zaha Hadid Gallery, Sadler’s Wells East, The Resolution Festival, and London Design Festival, as well as collaborations featured on Nowness Asia.
