Amber Jeong
Amber Jeong (앰버 정) is a South Korean artist based in the UK. She studied BA Illustration (Communication) at Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London (2014–2017), where she developed her visual language as a means of exploring emotional expression.
Her practice centres on drawing as a way to process unspoken feelings, shaped by her experience of living abroad and raising three children. Working between moments of loneliness and gratitude, she reflects on identity, belonging, and the quiet emotional rhythms of everyday life. Under the name Happy Dust, she considers herself as a small presence within a vast universe—yet one that carries meaning and value. Through her work, she seeks to transform personal reflection into images that offer comfort and connection to others.
Flower Series
These four works are part of the Twelve Flowers series, bringing together flowers of different shapes and colours, each carefully observed and held in quiet harmony. Every element remains unique, yet together they create a sense of balance and coexistence. No flower is more beautiful than another, reflecting the idea that each being is equally unique and irreplaceable. Plants appear throughout the compositions as gentle presences, offering small moments of comfort and calm within everyday life. Each flower, distinct in form and colour, comes together in harmony, revealing a shared space where individuality is not diminished, but made more visible through togetherness.

Quiet Companion Series
These four works are part of the Twelve Cats series, preserving the warmth and presence of cats as remembered by their family. Each piece observes and reflects the quiet comfort and companionship these animals bring into everyday life. While each cat is unique, together the series illustrates the subtle emotional connections that arise through shared presence. The illustrations invite viewers to pause and notice gentle, often overlooked moments of care and connection. Through this series, Amber Jeong creates a space where individuality and togetherness coexist, echoing the shared value central to the theme of Gachi.
